How can I configure the Data Replicator 3 to back up files regardless of length of file name? My backup attempt had dozens of error messages that say that the file name was too long and failed to back up. The file names are long due to being located in a sub-folder structure. I would rather not create a lot of higher level folders. I prefer my folders within folders setup.

Unfortunately, this software doesn't have the functionality that you mentioned. However, this problem was tested, and it seems that the program is throwing errors only when it encounters spaces or punctuation symbols in the name of the folders. Try removing those from the file names. It should fix your problem.
When I connect to my DiskStation in my Home-Network, I can access to my DiskStation Server and make a Backup with the Data-Replicator.
But when I access to my Home-Network via VPN, I can't found my DiskStation Server on the Data Replicator 3. What do I wrong?
